Meet the Team We live and breathe biking
Myles Chase Owner
It is safe to say Myles has been at this for over half of his life. He became a bike mechanic at an early age, at Klaus' Ski and Sport, and raced road and mountain as a competitive junior for many years. However, things evolved quickly when he opened MC Cycle and Sport at the young age of just 19. Even while running a very busy bike shop, he still has found the time race Ironman twice, finish many ultramarathons, and ride fast in endurance mountain biking. No matter what the season is, you can bet he's ready to rip!
Kale Poland The Crazy Guy
Walk into the store and you will most likely find Kale with food in one hand and a wrench in the other. Kale's specialty is multi-day ultra-distance sports, from cycling to running to swimming. He has a strong presence in the athletic community, between coaching Nordic skiing for local high schools and clubs, run coaching, and instructing Spinning classes at multiple gyms. He's a nice guy, if you can look past the ugly beard and the free clothes he's wearing.
Brian McCall Cycle Prodigy
Brian has been knee-deep in the cycling culture for over 25 years. As young as 10 years old, he remembers dismantling his bikes, and enjoying the challenge of putting everything back together. He began his racing odyssey at 13, and before he knew it, was riding at the Cat 1+ level in both downhill and cross country. His racing experience covers all the arenas of cycling: road, mountain, BMX, cyclocross, collegiate, and 24 hour events! Like many of us, Brian's passion for cycling runs deep. "Through all of the ups and any of the downs in life, cycling has always been there." His mechanical ability and knowledge of all things mountain bike is fantastic asset to the shop, and a great resource for the customer!
Dustin Mason AKA Dusty
The training wheels came off at age 4 for dusty and his love for speed grew from there. Building and fixing his own bikes as a kid, his love for bikes is cemented into his life. At the age of 30 Dusty won the Cat 2 Gravity National championships. He is now racing Cat 1 with hopes of seeing the pros before he is 35. Don't let the wild hair and beard fool you, a graduate of Barnette's bike institute Dusty has been in a shop wrenching for 6yrs and when it comes to mountain bikes or anything with suspension dusty is a wealth of knowledge.
